Exhibited as part of the Postgraduate SHOW 2023, this work is comprised of three large mono prints on Hosho paper.
I inked up a large piece of wood, placed the paper on top and used my body to make the marks. I did this in layers using different colours. It was important the I was able to take up space with my body and that the result was these prints that were the size of my body when lying down.
I used some cut out stencils to create ghostly outlines of a chair and a bed. I then worked into them, still using the mono print technique, to draw and write. They were hung on wooden batons about a cm off the wall which allowed them to hover and move in the space.
